My story

I’m a Balanced Body certified Pilates Instructor. I teach both private and group classes on both the Mat and Apparatus.  Furthermore, I like creating and sharing Pilates-related workouts and ideas. You can find my content on Instagram, but I primarily share it on my YouTube channel, often featuring breathtaking scenery from various corners of the world.

 PILATES JOURNEY

How did it all begin?

It all began when I was typing on my computer at my old job and I realized it wasn’t fulfilling for me. I started searching for my life’s purpose. I suppose we all go through this at some point in our lives, and I want to emphasize that it’s never too late for a change; in my case it was really worth it.
Pilates caught my attention due to its growing popularity. I read about it, and it all just made sense. I really appreciate Joseph Pilates’ ideas, and now, after a lot of learning, training, studying, and teaching, I can share them with you.

PILATES CERTIFICATION
& TRAINING

I hold full certification from an internationally recognized Pilates School—Balanced Body—for both Mat and all Apparatus (Reformer, Cadillac, Chair, Ladder Barrel, Step Barrels). Additionally, I completed a Human Anatomy Course designed for Pilates Instructors because I believe it’s essential to understand  how human body works when working with it. I also hold a certification for group fitness classes from ACE – the American Council on Exercise.

I was working as a Pilates instructor for one year in Vancouver, Canada, where we resided. During this time, I worked with clients at various fitness levels, including those with health issues such as low back pain, scoliosis, herniated discs, and individuals in excellent shape. I taught both group classes (with up to 15 clients) and private sessions on both Mat and Apparatus. I was working in the Club Pilates, Local Health Clinic and Fit To Be Healthy Studio. During this period, I also completed a Pilates on TRX Course, focusing on Effective Cueing and Optimal Alignment for Pilates Exercises Performed on Suspension Straps. I also attended several workshops on topics such as Breathing during Pilates, Effective cueing and performance of exercises like Chest Expansion and Star.

Before relocating to Canada, I received informal comprehensive training from BASI instructors in Art of Pilates Studio in Bratislava, where I taught for one year. This training encompassed both Apparatus and Mat instruction.

In total, I have taught approximately 2000 teaching hours (each lasting 50-60 minutes).

Becoming a Pilates instructor has brought a profound sense of fulfillment to my life. I’ve never received such positive feedback in my career, and I’m committed to furthering my education in this field to help people improve their physical well-being.

I am grateful for every step of my Pilates journey, and I eagerly anticipate the ones yet to come.
